About Us

Safer Buildings Group was created to assist building owners, management bodies and body corporates to meet new cladding regulation requirements in Queensland and the other states and territories across Australia.

Our focus targets existing buildings and we provide experienced teams of building industry professionals, fire engineers, laboratory service partners and construction project managers. This capability enables us to work through all your cladding assessment and building remediation requirements.

We are well regarded in assessing the risk posed by cladding and external facade systems. Our experts were instrumental in developing Queensland Governments combustible cladding assessment framework and our group partner is managing the Princess Alexandra Hospital cladding removal and replacement project.

Our Sectors

We are able to provide services across all building classifications from Class 2 to Class 9, including multi-unit residential buildings, hotels and motels, office buildings used for professional or commercial purposes, shopping centres, retail shops, restaurants and cafes, warehouses, factories, health-care buildings, assembly buildings such as childcare centres, schools, sporting facilities and night clubs, and aged care buildings.
